Abstract

The present study of Triassic rocks in Jameson Land and Scoresby Land and on Traill Ø (fig. 21) is a continuation of the field investigation initiated in 1975 (Clemmensen & Andreasen, 1976). The Danish Natural Science Research Council (SNF) provides funds for the investigation in progress. The purpose of this note is to present a new lithostratigraphical subdivision of the Triassic rocks (fig. 22) and to interpret the depositional environments of the stratigraphic units.
