The occurrcnce af Early Cambrian fossils in the North Greenland fold belt in northern Nyeboe Land (fig. l) was noted by Peel (1974) who reported olenellid fragments and Latouchella in a sample (GGU 83337) collected by P.R. Dawes (GGU) from a sequence af interbedded dark limestones and shales. Subsequent preparation has produced specimens of Serrodiscus and Colodiscus (notcd by Dawes. 1976. p. 277) associated with Pelegiella and olenelid pygidia.
