Comments on the implications of new radiocarbon dates from the Holsteinsborg region, central West Greenland

Abstract

New radiocarbon dates from the Holsteinsborg region, from the coastal area between Amerdloq fjord and Nordre Strømfjord west of longitude 52°W, add to the 14C data aIready published (Weidick, 1972a, 1972b, 1973); Kelly, 1973; Laursen in Weidick, 1972b, 1974), making a total of 51 dates related to sea level and marine faunal histories, including one from just east of the defined area.
