Abstract

Most of the literature on the Ilimaussaq intrusion concerns various mineralogical, petrologicai, and geochemical aspects of the agpaitic suite of rocks. Less attention has been paid to the rocks of the roof zone, the granite and early syenites, which constitute a much smaller volume and which in many places have been affected by heavy alteration and weathering so as to obscure their interrelations.
