Abstract

Carbonatite was emplaced in two stages at c. 600 Ma in the border between the Archaean craton and the Nagssugtoqidian mobile belt. During and after emplacement hydrothermal activity gave rise to fenitisation and alteration with increased contents of Nb and REE adjacent to the igneous core.
